Fitness
Our new fitness room has 55m2, enjoys daylight and is equipped with modern exercise mashines for endurance and muscle built-up. A big flatscreen tv entertains you while exercising. The fitness room disposes of the following equipment: 2 Greg Lemond spinning bikes, 1 multi-power station for shoulder, 1 crosstrainer with many computer supported programmes, 1 aqua-rowing mashine, 1 ergonomic bicycle (exercise device), three gym pads, water & fruits

Sauna & Sanarium
Relax in our spacious sauna area! You will find the classic Finnish Sauna (90 degrees Celsius), a Sanarium (75 degrees Celsius) and two jade-thermal massage tables for free use. Water and fruits will be available in the relaxation room.

Yoga und Pilates
Every Thursday from 17.45 pm until 19.15 pm Yoga and Pilates classes are offered in the hotel. Our guests participate free of charge.

Bicycle Tours
Besides regular three-gear-bikes for men and women we offer children bikes, trailors for children and mountain bikes. We have worked out customised tours exclusively for you. They start at the hotel and have various degrees of difficulty.

Boat Rental
From the hotel's own footbridge you start your individual boat trip, for up two 5 hp no licence needed! For more powerful boats our offers include a skipper unless you bring your licence.

Theme Tours
Suitable in particular for groups we offer our guided theme tours - walks or tours on bikes. For different tastes we offer different tours.

Jogging
The course around lake Ziegelsee is 3 km long. Ask at the reception for longer routes.

GPS Geocaching
We dispose of two GPS devices.Treasures (caches) are hidden in and around Schwerin. Snatch the device and get guided be the navigation. We guarantee: you'll soon feel the treasure hunt fever! We will explain how it works.

Snooker Chess, Backgammon
Play snooker in our cozy snooker room or challenge your partner to a round of chess!

Upon reservation
For small and large groups we recommend archery, dragon boat rowing on lake Ziegelsee and other out-door games. Ask us!

Book a beginner's course at the Winston Golf Club with Country Club House not far from the hotel. The popular golf course is integrated into a beautiful natural landscape. We organise the transfer to the club.

Canoeing on the Warnow
Various canoeing courses with different degrees of difficulty are signed out. We organise the boats for you.

Further activities in and around Schwerin:
Schwerin is surrounded by water. Aquatic sports play a dominant role. If you are not so "seagoing" you can enjoy water and fresh air on one of the beautiful beaches ubiquitous in the area.

Fishing
Fishing licence for tourists: If you plan fishing holidays in Mecklenburg you need a fishing permit - costs involved - and an official fishing licence or a tourist fishing licence - costs involved. Schweriner Zoo
Tested and found good. Try out yourself! The German weekly magazine "Der Stern" did it in 2008. Germany's 60 most important zoos underwent the test. In the category "smaller zoos" Schwerin scored an outstanding third place. And with 25 ha the zoo is not really that small! We are a member of the zoo supporting association and proudly recommend a visit www.zoo-schwerin.de
